I wanna ask whats the best positioning for my soon to be placed corals and some macroalgae
Tank setup:
*10G
*1 warty frog fish
*canister filter (mechanical, chemical, carbon)
*Water flow is variable so i can just change the current
*RO water already
I was planning to add:
*pulsing xenia/kenya tree will be placed behind rock to not over populate
*red/purple/ or any dark colored zoan
*and some macroalgae not sure what other type to add since i am still looking for red, pink, purple or dark colored type to match the rock and theme
Don't mind the middle rock in front i just did not take it out since my warty likes that rock and mostly stays on that rock that was from his old rock formation before deciding to add corals and adding bigger rocks
Got everything ready for the new tank! Got our 80L AIO Nano reef tank, cabinet and everything we need to start today! Keen as! 🐠🪸🐡
Picking up our nano tank in the next few days!! So excited to start cycling this baby! Going to get substrate tomorrow, maybe some new corals too! Hehe 🙊
The 20 gallon nano just hit 3 months old and is going strong. This tank was started with the help of my two other mature systems so it had a good biological start. Tanks been super stable with a two part plus bio mag dosing system.

Pico aiptasia grow out tank coming along nicely
A sad weed. I thought it melted last night but today has come back to life-some? I am hoping it pulls through- as this is my first slat tank with supposedly easy beginner corals. I think the macro algae is hogging all the nutrients in this pico 5 gallon so maybe this one doesn’t have a chance?
My first nano tank and these two little guys are thriving!
Cycle complete on the experiment! Added CUC and my first ever corals last night!! Also upgraded water flow from the nano internal skimmer to Fluval HOB- I didn’t like the space the skimmer was taking up and the HOB gives me more flexibility with carbon filtration option. Upgrade lighting arriving tomorrow!
