Description
The Flame Angelfish is a strikingly vibrant and colorful saltwater fish that is popular among aquarists due to its unique appearance. It boasts a deep orange-red color with vertical black stripes on its body and blue-tipped dorsal and anal fins.
Reef Safe
The Flame Angelfish is considered to be reef safe with caution. While it does not usually bother corals, it may nip at small-polyped stony corals and some soft coral polyps.
Environment
The Flame Angelfish requires lots of hiding places and live rock for grazing. It prefers a well-lit tank with moderate to strong water movement. It is crucial to maintain a stable environment as sudden changes can cause stress to the fish.
Behavior
The Flame Angelfish is known for its semi-aggressive behavior. It can be territorial, especially towards its own kind and other fish of similar size and shape. It is best to keep only one Flame Angelfish in a tank to avoid conflicts.

We call him Beast because he is a bit of a terror but so far no major fights. He is absolutely a show stealer though. No issues eating coral but hear they can so I keep him well fed.

Is a beautiful fish that will bring some life to your tank. I personally had this fish when it was smaller until I moved it to my friends tank for more space.

Extremely vibrant fish that steals the show of any tank it’s in. Good algae eater. Only downside is that they are very likely to eventually eat coral.
