My clown fish is not doing good! I’ve had my tank for about two weeks now. Gill is swollen and have white spot! Note I have two clown fish and only one is sick. What should I treat my new tank with?

Get another tank and isolate all your fish. Leave your main tank alone; the ich will die there. For the isolated tank, dose with copper treatment.

Hard to tell for sure what it is, In my opinion I’d suggest starting with identifying what it is, whether that’s flukes, ich, velvet or something else. To me it reminds me of flukes but do your own research. Depending on what it is different treatments are needed- prazi pro for flukes, ich-x for ich and velvet. Short freshwater dips may help if you aren’t dealing with a disease but with a parasite (keep fish moving and breathing to get water through system, max 1-2 minutes. Osmotic shock will stun the parasites and make them fall off) Most important thing is to ID what is on the fish, then treat from there. Good luck and I hope your fish pulls through!! Also copper in a seperate tank, or treating in general in a seperate tank is preferred. If no other tank and you have corals and invertebrates and rock, do not dose copper in main tank, it will absorb and slowly leech out of the rocks, and kill the invertebrates.

Oh no poor clownfish! I’m new too and always get worried when a fish acts weird. Did you check your water? Maybe test for ammonia just in case since the tank is so new. Hope he pulls through!

I would isolate just in case. Hopefully you have a quarantine setup. Do a prazi pro or rid ick treatment with garlic. That's the extent of my sick fish knowledge don't dose any medication in the main tank
