Hi, soon I’ll be getting first fish (clownfish) as the cycling’s complete but I will have to go on a trip for 3 days.. does anyone know if it’s okay if my lights are off for so long, tank is near the window during the day and there is a lot of natural light, but still, will it be a problem?

You need your lights on a timer. You can buy lights with a timer built in or plug your light into a timer plug. Either way just leave it on with the timer set to turn off at night and on during the day.
👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
I agree, keep your blinds closed to prevent algea outbreak and get a timer plug for your lights

Why not leave the tank light on? Also, natural light will cause nuisance algae growth so I would advise closing the blinds
It’s not a problem if it’s turned on constantly?
If it’s not able to be programmed to run for 8-10 hours a day, I would leave it off.
Ok, thank you!
