How to reduce high phosphate levels from frozen foods in reef tanks

I'm still very new to reef keeping. This tank is 6 months old now. I bought a bunch of live rock from the local shops sump to give me a kick start. Everything seems relatively happy. Only just realized my super high phosphate levels were coming from the frozen foods so I'm going to be straining and rinsing from now on. Current phosphates are between 0.2 and 0.4 so hopefully I can bring that down substantially. Wish me luck!

Good luck! Rinsing frozen should help, just bring phosphate down slowly and keep testing since 6 months is still pretty young.
