How do I get rid of this algae in my sand bed?

Itโ€™s likely collecting there because there isnโ€™t enough flow in that spot. You could: try moving the flow nozzle to hit this spot too Get a Wavemaker for more flow Move some piece of rock that may be blocking the flow

Grab a sand sifter or a diamond watchmen goby. Keeps my sand clean. He can be an ass though.

Get a turkey baster it works great suck up some water in it then stick it in to the sand and squeeze repeat until clean

Looks like diatoms to me. Nothing too concerning. How old is the tank? Is it possible to meet up with another local reefer with a mature tank to see if you could get a handful of sand or biomedia from their sump? The extra diversity of beneficial bacteria should help overcome this. Another good option would be AquaForest Life Source treatments.

get some nassarious snails i dont know how much flow you have but increase cleanup crew for sand bed
