Community feedFinally up and running! It’s been a slow journey (bought this the week before Christmas!) I have learned quite a bit along the way and still learning more as I fine tune things here and there. The wife and I are super happy with how it all turned out.
Cycling now with some Turbostart and will be checking the parameters over the next few weeks before I start swapping over the gang from my Biocube and our last 2 velvet survivors from the Hospital tank.
Working out a random intermittent gurgle from the sump every once in a while, but other than that all is good with no leaks!
Finally! Almost have the 75 gallon up and running, bull heads come in today and will finish up plumbing once I decide how I want to place my sump.
Is this a good height for the drain pipe? It’s about 1/2” below the weirs of the overflow (to the hole at the top). Would that be where to measure into the bigger hole further down?
Getting the 75 gallon tank ready is a slower process then I anticipated, so I figured I’d at least get one of the lights on the Biocube32 for now!
It’s currently about 9” off the water and running a slightly modified Signature Tolga preset. Anyone have a same or similar setup that can share their light settings? Light is a Hydra 32
Test run of my rock-scaping for the 75 gallon. Had these cleaning in bleach for two weeks to kill off all the nasty that was in the tank when I picked it up. Going to move my current live rock over as well so some of these might not be used.
New additions to the Biocube! A porcelain crab, feather duster, sexy shrimp and a candy cane coral! Also, our pink tipped anemone feels like it’s growing everyday, my wife pointed out this split appendage which is awesome looking
When Pablizzo shares a reef update, it will appear here.
