Looking for advice! We just set up a second smaller tank (60gl) and now cannot decide what to put in it. We originally had plans to do a seahorse tank but after research, have decided NOT to go that direction.
We have 125g setup now with more peaceful fish. One option is to relocate all my small fish into the smaller tank and then put a snowflake eel into the 125 with my blue tang, scopas tang & foxface.
Or build a second stock list in the new tank. Water is cycling now so we have some time to build it out. Suggestions welcome! 😄

Got me a Foxface in today. I shop all my fish at Trinh Fish and Corals. It’s where I got my XL Blue hippo tang from also that is 6 inches. All fish are healthy and do not use any water from the bag of you have corals cause they do contain copper where they make sure the fish are clean before shipping to you
New member of the Clean Up Crew! I was told the black spot Foxface will eat bubble algae and they’re doing a great job on hair algae so far. I have plans to upgrade to a 1200 in the next 4-5m so they’ll have more room as they grow.
finally... after waiting months for these fish to finish quarantine. they've been in my tank for 2 weeks. pecking at everything. I also did my best to take out some of the GHA by hand... hopefully they'll get the rest of it out. one spot foxface rabbitfish, Tomini tang, yellow Tang, lawnmower blenny.
My new foxface
Hi everyone. Today I did a water change. I brushed my rock work with a toothbrush. Then added my New GFO and Carbon reactors. I hope this helps with the GHA issues. I'm very excited for Thursday. My new pets/fish arrive. One spot foxface rabbitfish, yellow Tang, tomini tang, lawnmower blenny, and Emerald crab.
Here's my challenge with my tank. Just did a water change. I've been fighting this green hair algae since I had my 40 gallon tank. It continues in this 125 gallon. The half platform with the little zoa's and the tube on the back wall. I take it out and peroxide clean it. But the other Rock work is just to much to take out and clean the same way. My parameters are: SG: 1.025 TEMP: 78 ALK: 8.9 CA: 430 MG: 1290 PH: 8.2 NO3: 4 PO4: 0.00... now my toldstool hasn't been open for 2 weeks. And my GSP won't open because I cleaned the tube. So, I'm going drastic and I'm putting the GFO back in the sump. I hate to say how much I spent. But I ordered some New fish to help with this algae. Yellow Tang, tomini tang, one spot foxface rabbitfish, and more.
Not my coworker and I tuning into my camera to watch my fish for 10 min while waiting on a patient 💀 so happy to see my newly added Powder Brown Tang out and about for the first day without being bullied!! Apparently day 4 is the magic number for my Sailfin to decide he’s going to accept a newcomer 🤣 he’s so funny cuz he only cares about the big fish. My foxface is still in “timeout” (he’s on day 2- hiding under the white rock) and the Midas blenny didn’t get any reaction out of him.
Rescued this foxface from PETCO (they were going to put him down so just gave him to me). He is quite emaciated, you can see his poor bones. He’s in quarantine right now. The past two days he’s gotten garlic soaked seaweed, flakes and frozen variety. He’s eating some but not much. Started prazi today in case he has internal parasites. Really wishing I could get him to eat more! Any suggestions are appreciated 😊
Morning tank views ☀️
I’ve been loving the vibrant yellow of my Foxface Rabbitfish. Probably one of my favorite fish.
