I love my powder till death, but he’s also one of my most aggressive fish he attacks everything new in the tank almost killed one of my new tangs so I had to move him for 2 weeks. So if your getting one get it last. The most beautiful fish I have though!!!!

What You Feed: Nori, Frozen Mysis, PE Pellets

My Powder blue is half the size of my Desjardini Tang but bullies him and other fish in the tank. I started feeding a healthy amount of nori each day (previously every other) and that help lessen the aggression a lot. The colors are absolutely beautiful but is a bully fish and I would choose a different tang next time.

What You Feed: Frozen mysis, Nori

I got this guy from someone who couldn’t care for him anymore when he was small. He’s about 3 inches as of this review and the reason I can’t put any other tang in my tank. He’s a bully. With most other fish he is friendly but other herbivorous fish are enemies, he even will chase my lawnmower blenny from time to time. I have also caught him eating the tips off goniopora and torch coral. Beautiful fish but he restricts what I can put in my tank.

What You Feed: Nori sheets, Mysis, frozen spirulina

Beautiful fish that can be a great show piece for any large reef tank. Excellent community fish that showed absolutely no aggression towards any of the other tangs in the 3 different systems that I had it in. These are an absolutely MUST QUARANTINE fish. Mine was the first fish I ever had show ich in a system that had never had an issue before, and was the last of the fish to recover.

What You Feed: Nip nori seaweed sheets, frozen mysis shrimp, frozen spirulina etc

Really beautiful fish, I did have an issue in the beginning with it as it was nipping the algae off of my feather duster worm and in turn stressed it out a lot, luckily didn’t kill it but provided enough seaweed and chaeto algae it stopped bothering the feather duster. However I Would most definitely buy again!

What You Feed: Frozen Brine

This is a fish that needs to be kept in a large established stress free environment. There guys are notorious for going through periods of sickness over and over again although you can get them to recover pretty quickly.
