Anyone have some tips to maintain calcium? I’m having some trouble with it averaging between 399 and 540…other levels have been good. I was dosing weekly Nano part A and B, but quit to kind of monitor things and didn’t see much of a change. I’m great with my water changes, do 15-20% every weekend.

For a 14g tank I’d recommend using All-For-Reef. It’s super simple. After I switched from two part to AFR I had great success
Thanks guys! Looking into all these recommendations!
Nano tanks definitely keep you on your toes with parameters! With your calcium bouncing that high, I’d maybe try smaller water changes or test your salt mix just to see if that’s boosting it. Everything else looks solid and your routine sounds spot on.
I tested my salt mix and I’m getting 400 on the Salifert test
So I’m finding there might be something wrong with my Hanna calcium test. I have that and the Salifert test… and Hanna is reading 600 today and Salifert is reading 445. Tested my mixed water going in and getting the same where the Hanna is testing in the 500s and mix is reading 400. I’ll have to look into if they require calibrations. I had bought it used on eBay
That calcium jump is wild!
I know it’s so puzzling! I’m thinking I’m getting some false reads on my Hanna checker since double checking against the Salifert test I’m within normal ranges. So weird!! Ive stopped dosing and got something new to try this week to hopefully keep alk and calcium more balanced
All-for-reef is a simple all in one solution that does alkalinity, calcium, magnesium AND trace elements with no downside. Id believe hanna over sailfert with your swings between them.
I ordered some of the AFR, hope it helps!! 🤞🏻
Just use a kitchen electric mixer to mix till near clear. I mix up a gallon. Pour into milk jug. Fill my dosing container and save for refills. Lookup thiet calculator on tropic marin site.

Kalkwasser. Watch lots of videos on how to use it.
Or aqua vitro calcium. Loved that stuff.
