I’m very proud of my first reef tank. Starting to look great! Have some hair algae and bubble algae yet but just bought 3 emerald crabs so I hope they help out!
If anyone sees anything that needs to be fixed, please let me know. I have no idea what I’m doing but learning as I go.
Btw, I wish someone would’ve told me about a UV sterilizer sooner. This thing is a miracle! My water has never been so clear!
My 10 gallon reef this morning! UV sterilizer saved me when I was dealing with cloudy green water. Now I’m dealing with some hair algae but at least I can see my fish and corals.
Having trouble figuring out where to mount / install the uv sterilizer
It’s metal around. Thought about maybe screwing into the metal somehow.
Or mount to the wall behind? Scares me a little having that water run out of the tank but idk where else to put it
Is it worth it to run a UV on a quarantine tank??
Has anyone ever used this type of UV sterilization for Algea? If so, should I put it in the display or sump?
